1098-T Tax Information

Hi! My name is Eva Thompson.
I presume that you have a question relating to the 1098-T tax form. Let me give you some information on that tax form.

For your convenience, information has been placed on the college website concerning that form and the student’s charges and payments located at: www.snow.edu

In the upper left corner, click on the Students tab,

From the drop-down menu click on Registration,

Then click: Log on to the Badger Web System, choose LOGIN,

At this point you will be prompted by a User ID # and a PIN #

User ID # is the Student’s Banner ID or Social Security # - either should work

The PIN # is set up by the student and must be obtained from the student as this is protected information - we do not have access to give it to you.
Choose Student Services, Financial Aid & Payments, then Student Records.

When you get to student records you will be able to choose from a number of options:

Account Summary or Summary by Term – gives charges and payments by term or in total. (This may be the best way to track actual payments against your own records)

Tax Notification – is a copy of 1098-T itself with supplemental information about how we calculated the information that shows up on that form which represents the charges billed during 2007.
With this information you should be able to file your income taxes. If you have any tax-related questions, please consult your tax or financial advisor. You may also check out the IRS website for additional information concerning educational tax credits

If you still have questions or problems, please leave a message. Your message should include your name, your student’s name and social security number, and your phone number including area code.
Thank you!
