Guidelines For Placement Into Math And English Classes

We use ACT scores to tell us which Math and English classes students should start with. Students who feel they are ready for a higher-level class than their ACT scores indicate can take the Accuplacer test. If their Accuplacer scores confirm that they are ready for the higher level courses, then the students can register for the higher level courses. There is no charge for the Accuplacer (this year!), and the student must make an appointment. Talk to an advisor for the details.
