“What MATH class should I take?”
If your Math ACT is:
23 or higher |

MATH 1030, (your choice) 1040, 1050, or higher. |
MATH 1010 or Test out for higher placement. ** |
MATH 0970* or Test out for higher placement. ** |
MATH 0970 credits do not count towards graduation, but they do count towards scholarship and
financial aid credit requirements.
**To place into a higher level math class you can take a test called “Accuplacer”. There is no cost to
you if you take this on the Snow College campus. Make an appointment with the Advisement Office

**To test out requires a short writing sample to be performed at the Snow College Testing Center located in the Social Science Bldg. #109. There is no additional cost.
