Interested students must submit a Snow College application and a general scholarship application. All students applying for an art scholarship need to submit a one-page letter of intent directed to the Snow College Visual Arts. Students planning to visit campus should make arrangements to meet with the art department faculty to view a portfolio of original work.
If a student is unable to visit campus they will be required to submit a portfolio of 10-15 examples of recent work. Portfolios can be reviewed during in person visits or submitted by digital .JPG format. Work should demonstrate competency in composition, craftsmanship and should include examples of the students preferred medium but also include evidence of exploration into other materials. All materials must be received by March 1 for new freshmen and May 1 for returning students.
