The Business Management Department provides a broad-based curriculum, offering background in a variety of business areas. We are proud of our curriculum, both in terms of its content, and the manner in which we deliver it. The faculty is committed to our programs and students, and has a reputation among both students and alumni as highly competent and caring. We are committed to providing our students with a full range of learning experiences leading to a quality education.
The purpose of the Business Management Program is to accomplish one or all of the following:
1) educate students to successfully manage their own business
2) provide education for those students who seek to enter the job market at an entry or mid-management level position
3) provide business electives for students who plan to further their education in business
Most students interested in business choose one of two different paths. The first (Associate Science Business) is designed for students who will continue their education and pursue a four-year business degree. The program promotes business management and general education based on rigorous standards of quality relating to the breadth, depth and relevance of curricula, the qualifications of faculty and intellectual climate of the program.

The second path (AAS - Business Management) is designed for students who wish to begin employment after earning a two year Associates Degree. It is aimed at students who wish to start their own business, work in a family-owned business or in a small business. An entrepreneur may assume many job titles and duties to enhance the probability of a successful business venture.
We also offer business electives for students who plan to further their education in business. Our curriculum has been developed and adapted to be relevant to contemporary business expectations.
