Workshop Format
Instrumental participants will audition the first day to be
placed in chamber groups. Full chamber groups may
register together and participate as a group.
Vocalists audition on the first day and will be placed in
small ensembles with other vocalists and instrumentalists.
Auditions will be on the first day of the festival. Participants should be ready to perform a solo (such as a concerto or sonata movement) and then will be asked to sight-read a page or two from traditional chamber literature for their instrument or voice range.
Instruction will be given through ensemble chamber
coaching, master classes and music history seminars.
Participants are provided with practice times in the Snow
College music practice facilities.
Participants will have daily opportunities to attend performances
by world renowned musicians.
Room and Board
Housing will be provided at Snow Gardens Student Apartments.
This is an off-campus student housing unit near
our facility. Bring your own bedding and linens.
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be provided by the Snow
College dining room located in the Greenwood Student
Center.
How to Register
Please mail in application, letter of recommendation, and
deposits to address below. Application must be postmarked
by June 1, 2008.
Full payment will be due at check-in on June 26, 2008. We
will mail you a confirmation letter within one week of receiving
your application. |
