Homework: Homework will be assigned daily. Homework must be neat and legible. Since homework will include writing source code, it is reccommended that you use a computer and submit printed hard copies. Homework is due at the beginning of the second class period after it is assigned. Homework should be one-sided (don't use both sides of the paper) and it should be folded in with your name, class, and homework number on the outside front. Homework will be graded for correctness. Late homework will not be accepted unless it is pre-approved.  You are encouraged to study together, but you must submit your own work.
Quizzes: There will be quizzes about once a week.  Some may be unannounced. They will be given at the beginning of the class period.  The lowest quiz score will be dropped.  You may NOT make up any missed quizzes.
Exams: You may NOT make up any missed exams.  If you cannot take an exam because of a legitimate reason, you must make other arrangements before the scheduled time of the exam.  If the percentage of your final exam is higher than the median of the term exams, you will be given extra credit for exams.
