Scholarships. Snow College offers Honors scholarships above and beyond the regular academic scholarships. Additionally, at least some universities have scholarship money earmarked for Snow College Honors graduates.
Small, interactive, classes and individual mentoring. Snow College is known for the personal attention given to its students, and this is even more true in the Honors program. Honors students know their professors, and even pursue individual research projects with faculty mentors. Also, Honors classes are more interactive, allowing students to read more, discuss more, and explore more.
Field trips. Each semester, Honors students have the chance to get out of the classroom and learn in the wider world by attending cultural events, visiting historical sites, or studying course concepts in the field.
Academic friendships. Honors students take classes with each other and form a social support system.
Preparation for transfer to four-year schools. Honors students receive strong preparation to succeed in upper division classes at four-year schools.
