Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree preferred, with emphasis in social science field. An Associate of Science or Associate of Art degree is required, and two years of demonstrated instructional experience (may include volunteer work, tutoring, or training);
Must be bilingual (speaking and writing) in English and Spanish;
Must be able to communicate diplomatically with a wide variety of people, including the public, employers, and educators, and collaborate to achieve project goals;
Must have a genuine interest in facilitating and increasing adult basic education opportunities for non-English speakers, and a willingness to learn about the fields of adult literacy and bilingual education;
Computer literacy is required, including familiarity with the internet and common word processing and spreadsheet programs. Strong organizational skills are needed;
Flexible scheduling is necessary, as evening and weekend work is required;
Must have a demonstrated work and learning ethic and the ability to work with little direct supervision. A high level of motivation is required.
Duties:
Arrange adult and family literacy classes for Latino adults throughout Sanpete County. Select curriculum for program. (Classes will focus on functional literacy and basic interpersonal competency, not academic skills.) Establish class locations and schedules with awareness of Latino culture and patterns of employment. Teach classes, and assist with hiring instructors for classes as needed;
Initiate contact with those who would benefit from adult and family literacy programs. Generate interest in and support for the project. Facilitate childcare as needed for implementation of project;
Collaborate with public schools, local agencies, employers, and Snow College to maximize resources. Establish network to lay the foundation for ongoing adult literacy and life skills education in Sanpete County;
Indentify students’ needs and refer them to appropriate agencies and programs;
Establish protocols for program assessment and evaluation, including pre-testing and post-testing of students and tracking attendance. Collect data for grant evaluation;
Cooperate with Snow College faculty and staff to train, assign, and supervise Snow College student tutors in an effective manner;
Publicize project in local communities and at Snow College;
Attend meetings and conferences to learn more about how to successfully design and manage an adult literacy and life skills program;
Serve as the advisor to the Snow College Hispanic Student Association;
Perform other duties as assigned.
Salary: $24,000-$27,000, per 10-month contract.

Qualifications:

Duties:
Transfer students from Main Campus to West Campus;
Other duties as assigned between shuttle runs;
30-40 hours per week.
Salary: $10-12/hr depending on experience

Major Duties:
Instructor for both lecture and laboratory in Human Anatomy, and Human Biology;
Student advisement for majors in Pre-Professional, and Allied Health;
Macintosh computer proficient or willing to become so;
To participate in the continuing development of a strong science program through interaction with faculty and administrators and professional development;
Other assignments as determined by the college, including, but not limited to, service on campus committees..

General Description of the Grant and Giving Officer Position
Reporting to the Director of Advancement, the candidate will be responsible for the development, implementation and analysis of Snow College’s annual fund raising, including individual and corporate giving, grant management and writing, planned giving and other giving programs. Assist with event planning and community relations.
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelors degree required; Masters degree preferred· Three years experience in fund raising, corporate gift solicitation or equivalent sales experience required.
· Grant writing experience required
· Must be a self-starter and work independently
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Computer skills; word processing, financial applications, and fund raising software
·
Meet and associate with potential donors, sponsors and others, treating them with friendliness and respect·
Must be willing to work odd hours as the position requires·

Implement corporate giving programs and campaigns·
Assist other departments with fund raising activities·

Establish Snow College Foundation Board and serve as Executive Secretary·
Manage portfolio of grants that may be applicable to the College·
Write grant proposals·
Work with departments on campus to cultivate and initiate grant opportunities·
Work with office management team to track endowments, execute giving events, and prepare reports·
Supervise volunteers·
Manage development budgetSalary: This is an exempt position with an excellent benefits package. Salary will be based on degree and experience.
