     Qualifications:

• Prefer Masters degree or higher in Mathematics or Mathematics Education.  Will consider those with a graduate degree (from an accredited institution) in a related field and a minimum of 18 semester credits of mathematics beyond Calculus II;
• Evidence of successful experience in the teaching of mathematics.  Teaching at the post-secondary level especially desired;
• Ability to instruct students with widely varying mathematics backgrounds;
• Willingness to participate in distance / outreach teaching of mathematics;
• Ability to communicate effectively and clearly in oral and written English;
• Familiarity with and commitment to the mission and functions of Snow College.

    Major Duties:

• Teach lower division mathematics courses which could include Pre-algebra, Intermediate Algebra, College Algebra, Statistics, and Calculus;
• Perform duties associated with instructing students and assessing their progress.

Compensation: 

Based on highest degree earned and years of experience granted at hire.
