E-mail is another way to discuss philosophy. Some of you might feel more
comfortable "saying" things over e-mail than in class (though you should
still try to say things in class too). You can really think out your
responses before you send them on e-mail. And maybe it is easier to bare
your soul on e-mail. To qualify for a "C" you need to contribute more than
a few of e-mail messages to LS-Purple throughout the quarter.
Please, no "flaming"; be considerate, and argue about ideas without
