EPHRAIM - Faculty from the Juilliard School of Music will be here Aug. 1-4 for the third annual Juilliard Jazz Faculty Goes to the Mountains Rhythm Section Workshop.

The Snow College Horne School of Music and Julliard School have partnered to put on the workshop, which brings together some of the country’s best musicians. Faculty and students from Julliard and Snow collaborate to put on the workshop, aimed at improving the skills of young jazz rhythm section players. Music educators also participate.

The Juilliard School will also be sending three graduate students to augment the faculty. Snow College Director of Jazz Studies Scott Wilson and guitar instructor Rich Dixon will complete the workshop faculty.
