KEVIN WHITE NAMED
SNOW'S ATHLETIC DIRECTOR

White quarterbacked Badgers to National Championship; plans to boost fundraising, programs

March 24, 2008

EPHRAIM - Snow College has named Kevin White the school's new Athletic Director.

White has been involved in Snow athletics for more than 20 years as an athlete, mentor and supporter. He has been integral in the establishment and success of the Zions Bank Top of the Mountains Bowl, including in his current position as Executive Director.

"We could not be more thrilled to announce Kevin as our new athletic director," said President Scott Wyatt. "His energy, love for Snow and knowledge of our assets and challenges will benefit the college tremendously."

White quarterbacked Snow to its only National Football Championship in 1985 during his year with the team. Following his time at Snow, White finished his studies at Utah State University.

White has spent the past four years as a key member of the Top of The Mountain Bowl committee, spending the first three years as Chairman prior to being named Executive Director.

"This is a tremendous opportunity for me," said White. "I could not be more excited to play this role for Snow athletics."

White has established seven goals for the athletic programs at Snow, including enhancing the Badger Booster Club, helping the football program become self-sufficient and raising funds to help build facilities that will better showcase Snow's championship caliber programs.

"There is no reason we cant compete for conference and national championships year in and year out in all of our programs," said White. "There are a lot of people out there with the same passion and fondness that I have for Snow who want to help."

White has spent the past 17 years in sales, marketing and business development for several high tech companies, most recently as Vice President for Business Development for Agilix Labs.

Bob Trythall and Gary McKenzie will serve as Associate Athletic Directors, managing many of the day-to-day operations of the program.

Editors & Producers: White is available for interviews in Ephraim or on the Wasatch Front. Call 435-383-7154 to schedule an interview.
