EPHRAIM, Utah—October 20, 2003—Snow College today announced that Evan and Amy Bingham have created a scholarship endowment to honor the memory of their daughter Emily. The scholarship will be awarded annually to a young woman desiring to attend Snow College who demonstrates high moral, community and academic standards. The Bingham family will select the recipient.
Last Spring, while driving home from Manti High School, Emily Bingham’s car was struck as she was turning left into her driveway off of Highway 89. Emily died at the scene.
The Emily Bingham scholarship endowment has been created through generous gifts from the Bingham family, Zions Bank and an anonymous donor. The family hopes to grow the endowment to $20,000 over the next several years in order to offer a significant annual scholarship. Those wishing to donate to the endowment may send a check to:
Snow
College Foundation (write Bingham Endowment on memo line)
150 East College Avenue
Ephraim, UT 84627
If you have any questions about the endowment or contributing to Snow College contact Rick Pike at (435) 283-7062.
