SNOW COLLEGE TO PRESENT NEIL SIMON’S “THE ODD COUPLE”

Theatre Arts Department Begins Final Season in the Crane Theatre

EPHRAIM, Utah—September 23, 2002—Snow College today announced that Neil Simon’s “The Odd Couple” will be performed October 2-5 in the Crane Theatre on Snow’s main campus. The production begins at 8:00 p.m. Snow College students are admitted free with a valid activity card. Tickets are $6 for adults and $5.50 for seniors and high school students and may be purchased at the box office or by calling (435) 283-7411.

“The Odd Couple” is Neil Simon’s most popular comedy and tells the story of two divorced men – one a poker playing slob and the other a meticulous “Mr. Clean – who share an apartment. The contrasting personalities are a recipe for hilarity.

Dr. Kim Christison, chairman of Snow’s theatre arts department, directs the eight-member cast. Matt Barrington and Scott Bahlmann play the central characters, Oscar and Felix, respectively. Playing the six remaining roles are Travis Metzler (Speed), Michael Thibodeau (Murray), Tosh Layton (Roy), Raleigh Morgan (Vinnie), Kathryn Christensen (Gwendolyn Pigeon) and Stephanie Riley (Cecily Pigeon).
