Mormon Miracle Pageant - if your group comes the 3rd
or 4th week of June, you will want to attend Utah's largest outdoor
dramatic presentation with over 150,000 visitors annually. You are responsible
for travel (7 miles) to and fromthe pageant. The pageant is free of
charge. Gates open at 6pm with the pageant beginning at dusk (9:15pm).
Castle Valley Pageant - one of the Churchs eight pageants,
this pageant portrays the trials, triumphs and tragedies of some of
the first settlers of Castle Valley, as directed by Brigham Young. Held
on a hill outside of Castle Dale, overlooking scenic Emery County. Castle
Valley Pageant is about 90 miles from Ephraim (please allow a drive
time of 1 hour and 45 minutes). Pageant is held the last weekend of
July and first week of August beginning at 8:30pm and concluding at
10:30pm.
Mormon Handcart Pageant
- this inspiring story portrays the challenges of the early Mormon Pioneers
as they made their way across the plains to Utah. The pageant is held
the end of July in Nephi, Utah.
Rope Course Challenge at Badger Mt. - just a few miles
up the canyon your group will experience the team-building adventure
activities of our rope course. A rope course is a series of individual
and team events that are constructed with climbing ropes, cables, poles,
and more, at varying heights in the trees and on the ground. Your group
will experience the thrill of accomplishing numerous low and high events
that emphasize trust, teamwork, communication, leadership, problem solving
and more.
Snow Follies - a series of water/field relay games
that take place in the heat of the day. You've never played games like
these before (all new and improved). This water-oriented activity concludes
with a massive water fight.
Youth Dance Party - your youth will have a neat opportunity
to meet other youth from around the state. The youth dance is dependant
on the scheduling of other groups at the same time your group is here.
New Games - A collection of unusual games where everyone
can participate. Some are played competitively and others to just have
fun and enjoy each other.
Disc Golf Course - our course uses professional disc
golf targets located throughout the campus. This increasingly popular
activity is a riot. Your group will enjoy long open shots, navigating
around trees and finally, testing your ability to complete the hole
with short shots of skill.
Fireside Speaker and Testimony Meeting - fireside
or workshop speakers are to be provided by you, however, we provide
the room and seating. Testimonies and relationships can be strengthened
in this special meeting that culminates an outstanding youth conference.
Other Activities - tug-o-war contests including our
monster tug-o-war and 4-way rope, sand volleyball, and our own version
of "night games."
