Get Ready to Start Smart!

Start Smart (otherwise known as GNST 1001) is a class designed to help you jump right into life as a Snow College BADGER! Classes are start right around the corner and you won't want to miss out on all the fun and excitement you'll have getting ready for this year during Start Smart.

Start Smart is the best way for you to get prepared for your first semester at college. It will help you meet fellow freshmen, educate you on Snow's policies, familiarize you with our campus, overcome those first day jitters, and just have fun!

August 18th

9:00 am Meet in the Snow College Activity Center ("the AC")
Located on the corner of Center between 300 East and 400 East.

  • Attend workshops
  • Participate in activities
  • Make new friends

6:00 pm FREE get to know you BBQ

8:30 pm Evening Entertainment


August 19th

9:00 am Assemble with your Section

  • Attend workshops
  • Participate in activities
  • Make more new friends

8:00 pm Super Activity

Additional Sessions
You are required to attend the following sessions during Fall semester in order to receive the credit hour assigned to this course. During the weeks of September 8, September 29, and October 20 for one hour, your Section will meet again. Your section number determines the day and hour of these sessions.

Make sure you communicate with your mentor and section leader on the location.
