Traditional Building Skills Institute

The TBSI workshops are under the stewardship of the Construction Management program and the Art Department.  There is also an internship for any qualified Snow College student to get hands-on experience with historic preservation at the National Park Service’s Western Center for Historic Preservation.

CM 2756 Millwork/Window Fabrication
March 6th – 8th. Thursday and Friday from 2pm to 9pm and Saturday from 8am to 5pm.
Taught by Phil Kerns of American Heritage Window Rebuilders. Phil’s company did the big windows in the Ephraim city library on Main street.

CM 2706 Furniture Refinishing.
March 12th – 15th. Wednesday night from 7-9, Thursday and Friday from 2pm to 9pm, and Saturday from 8am to 5pm.
Taught by Carl Timm renowned finishing expert.
