Chapter 30: Montgomery G.I. Bill, Active Duty - A student must have an "Honorable" release from active duty. Must have served at least two years of continuous active duty and have basic pay reductions by $100.00 for the first 12 months of enlistment. If you are in a National Guard Unit and have been activated there is a difference between being activated and serving on continuous active duty.

Chapter 31: VA Vocational Rehabilitation - This program is for veterans with service connected disabilities. Vocational Rehabilitation is handled at the VA Regional Office in Salt Lake City.

Chapter 32:Veterans Educational Assistance Program (VEAP) Post Vietnam Era Veterans - You must have entered active duty after December 31, 1976, and before July 1, 1985.

Chapter 35: Survivors' and Dependents' Education Assistance Program - This program is available to sons, daughters and spouses of veterans who died in active duty or from a service connected disability, or are permanently and totally disabled, service persons missing in action and service persons forcibly detained by a foreign government.

Chapter 1606 : The Mongomery Bill Selective Reserves - Members of selective Reserve, which includes, Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard Reserves, The Army National Guard, and the Air National Guard.
