About Snow College

Snow was established in 1888 by hearty Mormon pioneers who settled in the Central Utah area now called the Sanpete Valley. With an enrollment of only about 2800 students, Snow offers some of the smallest classes in Utah -- with the finest "teaching" faculty anywhere. We say teaching, because unlike some larger universities, our professors spend their time in classrooms and labs with students . . . no teaching assistants here!

Credits transfer easily to any four-year school or university in Utah, and even out-of-state if that's your choice. We have an excellent Advisement Center to help you select a major or career. Costs are low, and there are lots of scholarships and financial aid available. In fact, Snow is one of the least expensive schools in Utah (check out Costs). We are OPEN Admission, which means anyone can be admitted (see our requirements page for specifics).
