Returning/Transfer Academic Scholarships

Students currently attending or transferring to Snow College may apply for academic scholarships. Awards are based on the student’s academic performance and available funds.

Returning Academic Scholarships
Returning Academic Scholarships are based on the students cumulative GPA for all college credit earned and available funds. A student must have a 3.70 cumulative GPA to be competitive for this award and also have completed at least one semester with a minimum of 12 semester credits to qualify. Students must apply by March 1st to be considered for returning academic scholarships.

Returning Student Academic Scholarships may be funded by Private Endowment funds and the student will be required to write a thank you letter if the scholarship is funded by a private account.

Transfer Student Scholarships
Transfer Student Scholarships are based on the students cumulative GPA for college credit earned at a regionally accredited college or University. A student must have a 3.70 cumulative GPA to be competitive for this award and also have completed at least one semester with a minimum of 20 semester credits from a regionally accredited college or University.

A Transfer Student is defined (for admissions purposes) as any student that has completed at least 20 credits of college coursework at another college or university after high school graduation and intends to transfer that credit to Snow College and continue his/her education.

Any Snow College student with more than 63 credits must appeal to the scholarship committee for consideration for any Snow College scholarship.
