The South House is the only building at the Center that has had extensive remodeling. Although the exterior looks as it did in the 1930's, the interior has been remodeled in order to provide a community kitchen and dining hall.
A large deck has been added, and now fine dining is available on the deck or inside the house. The kitchen has a commercial range and refrigerator, a large charcoal grill, and a conventional electric range. Groups may prepare their own meals, or arrangements may be made to have meals catered.
