I'm an associate professor in the English Department, which is a part of the Humanities Division. I teach English 0980, 1010, and 2010, Creative Writing, American Literature, Young Adult Literature, and Gothic & Supernatural Literature.

My academic credentials include an A.B. in English from Vassar College and an M.A. in Creative Writing from the University of Illinois at Chicago, where I completed three additional years of graduate study in Composition and Rhetoric.

In 2006, I published a novel, The Adventures of Michael MacInnes. It hasn't made me rich, but it was reviewed favorably.
