Objective: Learn how to use the calculator as an effective tool.

Credit: This class is one credit hour and is pass/fail.

Help: You encouraged to get help during my office hours (M-F 10:30-11:20).

Homework: Fairly simple homework will be assigned on a regular basis. You are also expected to read the appropriate sections or chapters of the manual or documentation that pertain to the homework assignment.

Presentation: Your final project and final exam (one and the same) is to do a 5 minute demonstration of something we haven't covered in class. This will be on the last day of class (Dec 6).

Quizzes: There will be frequent, simple quizzes.

Grading: 60% is passing. The category weightings are:
Homework 35%
Quizzes 35%
Participation (including attendance) 10%
Final Project 20%.
