Honors Library

In 1999, the math faculty decided to collect the books sitting on our office shelves and create a department library. The library is housed in the sitting area of the math department offices. Books are available for checkout for leisure reading (everyone wants to read math books) or for help in your classes (probably more along the lines of special projects).

Included are books like Against The Gods; a History of Statistics and Probability, an interesting tome about the development of how we make decisions using numbers, and Flatland, a classic tale about exploring different dimensions. Books on chaos theory, logic, fractal geometry, symmetery in nature or music, Escher and his drawings, and many others are available.

There is also a good collection in the Snow College Library. Any faculty member can help you get a book and we (the faculty) all know where Bart has hidden the key to the cabinet.
