Licensed Practitioner Nurse Program

The Practical Nursing program offers the students a Certificate of Completion in Practical Nursing and eligibility to take the State Board Examination leading to licensing as a Practical Nurse in Utah. The Snow College Practical Nursing program is designed to qualify as the first year of the RN program.

Acceptance into the LPN program is based off of a point system. You can find the application at LPN Packet and the handbook at LPN handbook.   We accept up to 45 students; all 45 students are filled from the same application pool. Classes will be held at the Snow College Richfield Campus, Ephraim Campus and the Nephi Campus using video conferencing technology and live instruction. Each classroom has microphones allowing students from each campus to participate in all lectures and discussions. Students from all campuses will travel about six times a month to these different sites for labs and activities. Please note that the Nephi Campus is a distant education site; students accepted on the Nephi Campus will be able to attend this campus for theory instruction but for any lab or group projects you will be required to travel to one of the other campuses. Travel will be required at least two days a week.

Students must submit a PN application by the April 15th deadline.

The Practical Nursing program is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing Inc. (ACEN).
