All academic programs complete a comprehensive program review every five years (R411). Each program review includes an extentive program self-study publication, site visit by external evaluators, a documented assessment from evaluators, and a formal program response to program recommendations. Completed program reviews are vetted by the Snow College Board of Trustees prior to submission and review by the Utah System of Higher Education commission. .
Snow College provided customized course evaluations to students near the end of each academic or instructional time period (including block classes and summer terms). Course evaluations are on-line via Snow College's BadgerWeb portal and can be accessed using any computer or mobile device.
Strategic Enrollment Management at Snow College aligns with the institution's mission and strategic plan to provide a collective mentality focused on the external environment and individualized student success in order to increase enrollment, retention, graduation, and transfer rates as well as build programs and enhance the quality of college services.
The Office of institutional Research uses assessment data along with other institutional information to report progress and provide recommendations toward mission and core theme achievement.
In full support of undergraduate research activities, Snow College provides review of student, faculty, and externally sourced research projects. Faculty are encouraged to use the National Institutes of Health web-training regarding the projection of human research subjects prior to completing and IRB application.
