ABOUT THE FESTIVAL

The Utah Clarinet Festival is a weekend of clarinet performances, clinics, and master classes open to clarinetists of all ages and skill levels. The festival is organized and hosted by the clarinet professors at Utah colleges and universities. This is the seventh annual festival.
The 2018 Utah Clarinet Festival will be held at Weber State University in Ogden, Utah.

- When:Friday, March 2, 2018. Clinics will be presented every hour on the hour lasting 45-50 minutes from 1:00 until 5 :00 pm (for specific classes see schedule below). A clarinet recital featuring local clarinet teachers and professionals will begin at 7:30 p.m. on Friday evening.
Saturday, March 3, 2018. This day will feature a clarinet choir reading session beginning at 9:00 a.m. for clarinetists at all levels, followed by 45 to 50 minute clinics, and master classes every hour on the hour from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm (for specific classes see below). At 5:30 p.m., Dr. Blake McGee will present a short clarinet recital. - Where:Weber State University, Ogden Utah in the Browning Center Lobby, Choral Room and Allred Theater.
- Cost:The event is $20 for one day or $30 for both days. All events and concerts are included in the registration fee with donations appreciated for parents and guests who may attend. Registration tables will be set up at the main entrance (west, bottom floor) of the Browning Center on Friday from noon until 1:30 p.m. and Saturday from 8:30 to 10:30 am. If you'd like to play for Dr. McGee or Dr. Morrison at a master class, space is limited and will be filled on a first come first served basis. If interested, contact Dr. Feller at dfeller@weber.edu.
- Vendors:Vendors will display equipment for trial and purchase on Friday from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Please support our vendors and purchase products!
- Parking & Registration:If you plan to attend on Friday, March 2nd, park in the paid parking lot directly west of the Browning Center. Saturday parking is free either directly west and/or south of the Browning Center. When registering, enter the main door of the Browning Center (facing west). You'll see our registration table just inside with forms, maps and program guides.
