Clogging is a type of folk dance that uses percussive footwork through the striking of either a heal or a toe in order to create audible rhythms. In this high-energy course students will learn beginning level traditional and contemporary clogging techniques that will include the use of arm movement, footwork, correct body alignment and locomotion in space. There will be opportunities for performances according to the desires of the class members. For help in acquiring clogging shoes, please contact the instructor at 435.851.4810. FOR AGES 10+.

Let the music move you with Zumba! A fun workout where every move is synced to a beat, this Zumba® class combines Latin, Country, Pop, Hip-Hop, Bollywood, & Belly-dancing music & moves. Develop cardio fitness and stamina in a fun workout for all strength levels led by licensed Zumba & Strong by Zumba instructor Jan Chamberlain.

Benefits: A total workout, combining all elements of fitness – cardio, muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility, boosted energy and a serious dose of awesome each time you leave class.

Spin

This is a group fitness class using Spin bikes to improve overall fitness, including cardiovascular and muscular endurance. Enjoy the group setting, with the ability to individualize your ride. Classes are taught at the West Campus Gym (325 W 100 N Ephraim).

You can purchase a 10-punch pass for $40 at the Greenwood Student Center. Classes are taught at the West Campus Gym, and your first class is free.
