Beginning Quilting

Class Description:

Learn the basics of quilt piecing. You will learn about fabric selection, proper pressing, cutting fabric with a rotary cutter,
accurate seam measurement, and so much more. There will be 12 different traditional quilt blocks (12" x 12" each}
taught, each with it's unique story and technique. This will be a hands-on class with many tips and tricks that will be
shared along our quilt making journey. You will have a beautiful sampler lap-size quilt top finished by the end of our class.

Attendees must be 16 or older and be familiar with their sewing machine, which must be in good working order.

Pen and Pencil

Notebook

1 - The Fine Line Pen - Blue

1 - Pigma Micron Pen, Size 5, Brown

Fabric (chosen after the first class)

Light Prints: 2 half yards
Medium Prints: 2 half yards
Dark Prints: 2 half yards
Dark Medium Prints: 2 fat quarters
Light Prints: 2 fat quarters
 
This will give you 4 yards of fabric, more than enough for a variety in your blocks.
