Course Description:
For more than thirty years, Adobe Photoshop has been the tool of choice for digital painters in the games, film, and fine art world. In this class, students will explore the power and flexibility of Photoshop as a painting medium, as they create rich, complex, and imaginative digital works. Imagination and drawing fundamentals are required, but a knowledge of Photoshop is not.
Biography:
In 1984, Dustin received an airbrush for Christmas, and after burning through all the paper in Ephraim, Utah, Dustin painted a life-sized Ferrari on his bedroom wall. His parents were not impressed. Since that time, Dustin has been covered in paint, and his love for creating illustrative, story based art has taken him from coast to coast, working in the video games, film, and toy design industries. Dustin studied at Snow College, where he gained a strong fundamental base that has been the bedrock of his nearly three decade career as a concept and visual development artist.
