During inclement weather, we provide for snow and ice removal. Safety issues are a top priority, including snow and ice removal from walk-ways, parking lots and entrances to buildings.
Our Communication Technician handles the installation of telephones and maintenance of computerized telephone systems, enhanced classrooms, audio/visual repair, and sound systems.
We provide general maintenance throughout the main campus, auxiliary buildings, and dorms/housing. We provide painting services for interior and exterior finishes on walls and other surfaces. We also provide help with moving whether it is office to office, classroom to classroom, or building to building.
We maintain all of the college owned vehicles and equipment from our auto shop. Repairs vary from routine maintenance to complete overhauls of equipment.
Trash disposal service which includes emptying outside cans is provided twice a week for the campus. We do many forms of recycling on campus as well.
We are committed to providing a safe and clean campus. We are pleased to provide this service and hope that we do our part to create a great learning environment as well as an outstanding place to work. We provide custodial services for 21 buildings for a total of about 500,000 square feet. We are staffed with eleven full time employees and provide part time jobs for approximately forty students (part-time and seasonal).
Our Lead Day Custodian is available from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. If you have an urgent clean-up you can contact the Physical Plant at ext. #7220 or submit a maintenance request online. All other custodial staff work from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Sunday through Thursday.

Everything from cardboard, white paper, metal, aluminum cans, leaves and even turkey manure is collected to be recycled. Organic matter is collected and composted for use in our flower beds and lawns.

We maintain and repair plumbing components to include toilets, urinals, and faucets, hose bibs, replace defective washers, replace or mend broken pipes, open clogged drains, and main water and steam lines.
We inspect, plan, repair, install, service, and maintain electrical systems which includes maintaining our heat plant and A/C units and controls for the entire campus. We repair or replace wiring, equipment, and fixtures. We install, maintain, repair, and replace wiring, conduits, outlets, and switches, fluorescent lighting, lighting systems, ceiling fans, exhaust fans, circuit breakers, and fuse boxes.
