Karen H. Huntsman Dedication Monday, November 1st at 1 p.m.

EPHRAIM- The Snow College Karen H. Huntsman Library will be dedicated during a celebration Monday, Nov. 1 on the Ephraim Campus.

Festivities begin at 1 p.m. with a book chain, symbolic of the process of moving books from the former library to Snow’s new library.

That will be followed by a ceremony including the Huntsman family, who made a significant donation making the library possible, and the Erastus Snow family, who will be making a donation of some of Erastus Snow’s belongings. Erastus and Lorenzo Snow are the namesakes of Snow College.

Following that, tours and refreshments will be offered.

The library, which opened its doors to students in August, is a 72,000-square-foot building housing more than 50,000 books and 65,000 digital sources.

The building, and the accompanying Heritage Plaza, helps fill out the southwest corner of Snow’s Ephraim campus.
