Marketing & Communication

The Marketing & Communications team develops and implements strategic communication plans in a variety of media. To further the mission of Snow College, we also collaborate on qualifying projects initiated by campus clients, providing consulting, guidance, project management, and creative services in:

  • Advertising
  • Photography
  • Print
  • Social Media
  • Video
  • Web
  • Press Release
  • Copywriting

Project guidelines:

  • Services are free, but clients pay for production costs (ads, printing, event materials, etc.)
  • Projects must be approved by M&C and budgeted for before production begins.
  • Designate one point person to coordinate with M&C.
  • On projects taken on by M&C, final decisions rest with Marketing & Communications staff on style conventions, text phrasing, design, and illustrations.
  • Deadlines will be decided upon receipt for project request proposal. Please anticipate 1-2 weeks for smaller projects and 1-2 months+ for much larger projects. Actual print time can add 1-2 weeks of additional time to any project.
  • Please take into consideration the date of your event and necessary lead time it will take to market/advertise your upcoming event.
  • Note that not all projects will qualify for time or resources. Assistance and services are provided on an as-can basis, and are contingent upon time and resources available.

Note that this request form is for single, specific, and clearly defined projects. Proposed projects need to be focused and thought-out -- a single brochure, poster, postcard, webpage, social media account, etc. We have only a limited amount of time to offer, and that time needs to be distributed across the many departments and programs requesting our help. Again, we hope this online form will provide a fair access point for those projects to be considered and queued up.

Also note that not all projects will qualify for time or resources. Assistance and services are provided on an as-can basis, and are contingent upon funding planning and time available – so advance planning and lead time are important. We recommend at least one to two months of lead time for hard deadlines. If we cannot assist you on your project, we can likely offer suggestions on how to move forward with your project on your own.

After you submit your request, you will be contacted as soon as possible for a follow-up discussion. If you have any questions, please contact John Stevens at john.stevens@snow.edu.
