Every new student should plan on attending Badger Orientation because this fun two-day welcome is the very best way for you to transition smoothly into Snow College.  You will meet other new students, connect with experienced orientation leaders, become familiar with campus, prepare to succeed in your academic goals, and have A LOT of fun! 

Snow College Badger Orientation begins with check-in Monday at 8:00-8:45 a.m. at the Horne Activity Center and goes through 8 p.m. on Tuesday.  There is a $15 dollar charge to your student fees. You will receive a lunch on Monday and a hot breakfast on Tuesday, entrance into some great activities, opportunities to meet some wonderful professors, listen to amazing speakers and the chance for prizes just for participating! 

You can register for New Student Orientation, GNST 0990 (Course Registration Number 5019 or if you are attending in Richfield, 5044) with your advisor or you can register on your own.  To register with your advisor, call (435) 283-7313.

To register on your own at click on this link BadgerWeb Registration then click, “Log on the Badger Web System”, then click, “Login.”  Enter your User Name and Password and hit enter.  Click “Registration” then “Add/Drop Classes” from here, find GNST 5019 (or GNST 5044 for Richfield) and add it as a class.


Ephraim Campus Orientation Schedule:

Saturday August 20th - Move-In Day

10:00am - 4:00pm

Monday August 22nd - Horne Activity Center

8:00-8:45 am check-in and getting to know each other games

9:00-10:15 am Orientation, President Carlston.

10:15-11:15 Keynote Speaker

11:15- 12:30 Breakout sessions in the AC main gym and Eccles buildings.

  • Nick Marsing- How to be successful in College
  • Allen Riggs- Dealing with Stress and Anxiety
  • Lisa Laird- Student Jobs

12:30-1:30- Lunch with mentor group, Q/A with mentors.

1:30-3:00- In depth campus tours and meeting professors in respective buildings.

3:00-5:00 Community Fair in the GSC along with time to get Books/IDs, Financial aid, etc.

5:00-7:00 Dinner on your own / free time

7:00-10:00 Student Life - outdoor movie night at practice field.

Tuesday August 23rd

8:30-9 Check-in and get seating in the AC main gym or Eccles Building.

9:00-10:15 Orientation

10:45-12:00 Meet with mentors / breakout sessions taught by faculty. 

12:00-1:00 Lunch

12:00-3:00 Academic open houses.

3:00-6:00 Bar-B-Q in the practice field / games and events in the GSC and practice field.
