To qualify for educational benefits, students must choose a course of study and successfully complete classes required for graduation. Students must maintain a 2.00 or higher grade point average to remain eligible for VA benefits. Failure to meet this requirement for two consecutive semesters may result in a termination of benefits.
VA benefits will not cover repeated classes that have received a passing grade or an "I" (incomplete). Students receiving grades of "UW" (unofficial withdraw) or "W" (withdraw) may be subject to a repayment of funds.

Federal Tuition Assistance:
Federal Tuition Assistance is primarily offered to National Guard members and Reservists.
These benefits are applied for by the applicant based on his military affiliation.
National Guard members and Reservists have to fill out their requests through GoArmyEd.com.
Both organizations require that Snow College be given official documentation. We will no longer take copies of your tuition assistance applications and pay off of them. For National Guard recipients we need an “Official TA Request Form” with signatures and control numbers. If we do not have these then you do not have tuition assistance.
For reservists we need an “Authorized TA Request Form”, this is a promissory note from the Federal Government stating your tuition assistance has been approved for payment. Again, without this you do not have tuition assistance.
As these are generally military computer programs we do not have access to them and therefore, do not have the ability to assist you in completing these forms as we have been able to do in the past. You also need to be aware that there are deadlines and eligibility requirements that must be met. When school starts you are generally too late.
Again, we have no control over these requirements. Since we no longer have the ability to assist you with tuition assistance it is in your best interest to become very well acquainted with your Education Liaison Officers.
State Tuition Assistance:
State Tuition Assistance is primarily offered to National Guard members and Reservists. These benefits are applied for by the applicant based on his military affiliation.
