The presidential search committee will be co-chaired by Regent Mark Stoddard and Snow College Board of Trustees Chair Scott Bushnell. It is comprised of representatives from the Board of Regents, trustees, and institutional stakeholders including faculty, staff, students, administration, alumni, and community members. It also includes representation from each academic division in Snow College and both Ephraim and Richfield campuses.

Snow College Search Committee Co-Chair
Appointed to the Board of Regents in 2011. Mr. Stoddard is currently the President of CEO of Central Valley Medical Center in Nephi and is Chairman of the Rural Health Group, Chairman of the Rural Health Foundation, and President of Rural Health Management Corporation. Regent Stoddard graduated from Snow College in 1978 with an Associate of Science degree in Business Management, followed by a Bachelor of Science from Utah State University and a Master of Business Administration from Brigham Young University. Since then, he has had a desire to give back to the institution that gave him so much. In 1988, Stoddard became the Snow College Alumni President, a post he held until 1992. He served on the Snow College Board of Trustees from 1989-2001, and has been the Snow College Foundation Chairman since 2002.
Vice Chair of the Board of Regents
Appointed to the Board of Regents in 2012. Ms. Barnes served on the Cedar City Council from 2005–2013. She owns and operates several businesses and is involved in various community affairs, including Real Women Run and the Utah Summer Games. Nina previously served as a member of the Southern Utah University Board of Trustees, the Southern Utah Foundation and the Anne & Dixie Leavitt Foundation. Ms. Barnes received a bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University and a master’s degree in Public Administration from Southern Utah University. Nina currently teaches as an adjunct professor at SUU. Ms. Barnes and her husband, Keith, have five children.
Appointed to the Board of Regents in 2011. Dr. Prince holds degrees from Dixie College and the University of Southern California. He is in the private practice of orthodontics with offices in St. George and Beaver. He is past president of the Utah Association of Orthodontists and currently serves on the Council on Orthodontic Health Care for the American Association of Orthodontists. He is a past board member of the Dixie College Alumni Association.
Appointed to the Board of Regents in 2008. Ms. Theurer currently serves as a member of the State of Utah Tobacco Prevention Control Program Advisory Board, a member of the Alliance to the American Dental Association Leadership Council, and a member of the Bridgerland Literacy Board of Directors. She served eight years as an elected member of the Utah State Board of Education. She also served on the Utah Medical Education Council, the Utah High School Activities Association Board of Trustees, the Utah College of Applied Technology Board of Trustees, the Bridgerland Applied Technology College Advisory Board, and the Edith Bowen Laboratory School Advisory Council. She graduated from Weber State University with an Associate Degree in Nursing and received a Bachelor of Science degree from Utah State University in General Studies. Ms. Theurer and her husband, Scott, have four children and twelve grandchildren.
Chair of the Board of Trustees and Search Committee Co-Chair
Appointed to the Snow College Board of Trustees in 2011. Mr. Bushnell currently serves as the Assistant Superintendent in the Murray City School District. He was the principal of Murray High School from 2004-2011 and was recognized as the Utah Association of Secondary School Principals (UASSP) High School Principal of the Year in 2011. He is a current member and past chair of The Orthopedic Specialty Hospital (TOSH) Community Benefits Committee, served on the University of Phoenix Advisory Committee, was a member of the Utah High School Activity Association (UHSAA) Executive Committee and is a past member of the Snow College Alumni Association. He has taught as an adjunct professor for the University of Utah in the Educational Leadership and Policy Department. He graduated from Snow College in 1984 earning an Associate of Arts degree. He went on to Mesa State College (Colorado), Utah State University and the University of Utah.
Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees
Appointed to the Snow College Board of Trustees in 2013. Mrs. Keisel spent her career as an educator in the North Sanpete School District where she started her career teaching elementary school. She served as a principal at the elementary and middle school levels and retired her career after serving as the District Superintendent. She has served on the Sanpete Valley Hospital Board and city and county Planning Commissions. Her retirement years have given her more time to spend enjoying retirement years with her husband, devote more time to grandchildren, making quilts for humanitarian projects, and serving in her church callings.
Appointed to the Snow College Board of Trustees in 2015. Mr. Robinson is a graduate of North Sevier High School and Brigham Young University (Business Management/Finance). He served a mission for Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Mission to the Louisiana/Baton Rouge Mission and has spent his career with Zions Bank in September of 1983. He worked as the Branch Manager in Manti, Utah, and is currently the Branch Manager/Vice President in Richfield, Utah. All five of his children have taken classes at Snow College, and one is currently enrolled in the fall Semester. He is involved with community and church service and currently serves on the Republican State Central Committee.
Trustee and Student Body President (2018-19)
Jared Devey currently attends Snow College and serves as the Student Body President. He grew up in Wanship, Utah where he attended North Summit High School. Jared is currently majoring in Communications and plans on attending Weber State when the school year concludes.
Assistant Professor of Mathematics
Professor Alder started teaching at Snow College as an adjunct professor in the fall of 2001. In 2010 she was hired on as a full-time faculty member. Professor Alder holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Southern Utah University and a Master of Education degree from Utah State University in Education with an emphasis in Mathematics. Ms. Alder is currently serving as the Mathematics Department chair at Snow College. She and her husband, Todd, have four children, two of which currently attend Snow College.
Assistant Professor, English as a Second Language
Udambor Bumandalai is an Assistant Professor and Chair of the Department of English as a Second Language (ESL) at Snow College. She received her M.A. from Brigham Young University (BYU) in TESOL in 2013 and B.A. from BYU in Linguistics with a minor in TESOL in 2007. She has over fifteen years of English as a Foreign Language (EFL) and ESL teaching experience in Mongolia and USA. Her research interests include ESL and EFL teacher training, developing listening and speaking skills, teaching culture, CALL, online language teaching, and issues related to NNESTs. She strives to develop herself professionally by actively serving and participating in TESOL International Association and its local affiliate Intermountain-TESOL.
Social & Behavioral Sciences Dean
Dean Cragun is starting his 40th year teaching classes in the Home and Family Studies Department at Snow College. Professor Cragun has degrees from Weber State College (BA) and Brigham Young University (MS). He has been recognized by his peers for his outstanding teaching by being awarded the Jesse Madsen Brady Award for teaching excellence and in 2015 -2106 the J. Elliot & Maxine Cameron Award for service to the Campus and Community. Mr. Cragun served for 12 years on the Ephraim City Council. He and his wife, Jan, have seven children – all of whom attended Snow – and 20 grandchildren.
Assistant Professor, Department of Music
Dr. Michael Huff is Director of Choral Activities and Head of the Piano Area at Snow College’s Horne School of Music. Prior to his appointment at Snow College, Dr. Huff wasExecutive Director of Legacy Music Alliance, a Utah non-profit organization that serves Music Education. He previously served as Visiting Professor of Music Education and Commercial Music at Utah State University. Prior to teaching at USU, he served on the faculty at the University of Utah School of Music. He was Founding Conductor of UTAH VOICES, a critically acclaimed adult community choir. For over a decade Dr. Huff was Associate Conductor and Principal Accompanist for the Utah Symphony Chorus. One among countless events and shows produced over a long career, since 1989 he has produced and directed the annually televised AutoZone Liberty Bowl Halftime Finale in Memphis, Tennessee where he has worked with recording artists from all eras and genres. Dr. Huff holds music degrees from the University of Utah and Arizona State University. He and his wife, Susan – a member of the Voice Faculty at Snow College – are the parents of six children whose interests and energy create the focus of their abundant family life. They make their home at Utah’s center, the beautiful Sanpete Valley.
Assistant to the President
Marci received her undergraduate and graduate degree (Management and Human Resources) from Utah State University after completing her associate degree at Snow College. She met her husband, Karl, while at Snow College, and they have been fortunate to call Ephraim home for over two decades. Marci has had various assignments and roles in the President’s Office at Snow College for 20 years, and she currently serves as the Assistant to the President where – as a member of the Cabinet – she handles special projects, acts as the liaison for the governing boards, oversees college-wide events, manages public and internal communications, and supervises the student leadership team. Marci volunteers her time in the local schools and with her church. She and Karl are the parents of four happy, future Badgers.
Business Department Chair
Stacee Yardley McIff serves as Business Department chair at Snow College and has taught in the college’s Business program since 2006. In addition to teaching and managing the Business Department, Stacee also advises the FBLA-PBL and Collegiate DECA student organizations on campus. Stacee holds a Bachelor of Science composite degree in Business Education/Business Information Systems, with a marketing emphasis from Southern Utah University. She has a Master of Science degree from Utah State University in Business Information Systems. Stacee recently finished her term as chair of the national FBLA-PBL Board of Directors. She also serves on the Leavitt Center board at SUU, as well as the SUU alumni council.
Director, Diversity & Inclusion
Fernando has been the Director of Diversity and Inclusion at Snow College since 2014. Fernando enjoys serving students from different backgrounds and cultures; his main priority is the success of the Snow College students. Aside from his job responsibilities, he is currently serving as a board member of the Sanpete Valley Hospital in Mt. Pleasant, Utah. He is also involved in several community organizations, such as the Sub for Santa Program, the Sanpete County Interfaith Council and the Catholic Church. Fernando was ordained a Deacon for the Catholic Diocese of Salt Lake City in 2017 and is currently serving as the deacon for St. Jude’s in Ephraim and St. Elizabeth in Richfield. Fernando graduated from Snow College in 2001 with an Associate of arts degree and a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Brigham Young University in 2004. Fernando is married to Hirais N. Montano and they have four children and three grandchildren.
Instructor, Diesel Mechanics
Justin D. Morgan teaches in the Diesel Technology program at Snow College and has taught automotive and diesel technology to both high school and college students since 2009. Additionally, Morgan advises students in the SkillsUSA program and the Diesel Society Club on the Snow College Richfield campus. Morgan holds a Bachelor of Education degree in Technology Education from Valley City State University, and is master certified in both automotive and medium/heavy truck by the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence. In 2015, he was awarded the Jack Erjavec Innovative Automotive Instructor Award by the North American Council of Automotive Teachers.
Engineering Department Chair
Mr. Sorenson is currently the Chair of the Engineering and Computer Science Department at Snow College. He has been a member of the Snow College Engineering Faculty since January 1996. He served on the Ephraim City Council from 2002-2006 and on the Sanpete County Planning and Zoning Commission from 2006-2009. He graduated from Snow College with an Associate of Science degree followed by a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Utah State University. He worked in industry for Hewlett Packard, IComp, Inc., and the Space Dynamics Laboratory prior to joining the Snow College Faculty. Mr. Sorenson and his wife, Jacque, have three children and six grandchildren.
Senior Financial Aid Advisor
Mr. Worthington has lived in the Ephraim community for most of his life. He is currently the Senior Financial Aid Advisor in the Snow College Financial Aid office. He has worked in the Financial Aid office for the past 6 years where he assists the students at Snow College in paying for their education. He is the past president of the Snow College Staff Association. Prior to working at Snow College he worked as an Independent insurance agent for 13 years. He graduated from Snow College with and Associate of Science degree in Business Administration and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Columbia Southern University. Mr. Worthington and his wife, Tammy, have three children and two dogs.
Alumnus and Community Leader
Abby Palmer Cox, is the wife of Utah’s Lieutenant Governor Spencer J. Cox. She was born in Mt. Pleasant, Utah, the 5th of eight daughters and two sons of Ken and Charlene Palmer. She was raised on the family farm where she learned the value of hard work and collaboration. Both she and Spencer graduated from North Sanpete High School, Snow College and Utah State University. She earned her degree in Special Education with a dual emphasis in Early Childhood and Severe Disabilities. She is a dedicated advocate for children with special needs. The Coxes currently live in Fairview which is located in the middle of the state. Abby has always been active in her community through involvement in PTA, church youth groups, and service to the homeless. In addition, she has supported her husband as he served as a city councilman and mayor of Fairview, as a Sanpete County Commissioner and in the Utah House of Representatives. Abby is a full-time mother to the four Cox children and a dedicated wife to a busy husband.
Sanpete County Commissioner
Mrs. Jarrett will be completing her fourth term at the end of this year as a Sanpete County Commissioner. As a commissioner, she is currently serving on numerous boards, committees, and commissions-- the Utah Joint Highway Committee, the Utah State Parks and Recreation Advisory Board, the Federal Highway Access Project Committee, the Six-County Association of Governments Executive Board, the Six-County Housing and Community Action Programs Board, the Central Utah Counseling Center Authority Board, the Sanpete County Special Service District #1 Roads Board, the Sanpete County Intergenerational Poverty Committee, and the Governor’s State of Utah Commission on Indigent Defense. From 1978 to 2008, Mrs. Jarrett served in various capacities at Snow College—Assistant Professor of Business Education, Vocational Director, and Human Resource Director. She received her BS degree in Business Management from the University of Utah, and her MS degree in Business Education and EdD degree in Business Information Systems at Utah State University. She is the mother of three children (all graduates of Snow College) and grandmother to six amazing grandchildren.
Business Owner and Alumni Board Member
Mrs. Stubbs is the founder and broker of Sevier Valley Realty (SVR), a successful real estate brokerage that focuses its listings to Sevier and surrounding counties. Under Angie’s direction, SVR has grown to become one of the most successful real estate brokerages in central Utah, and has been voted the "Best of the Best" by Sevier County residents 4 years in a row. Mrs. Stubbs is currently a board member of the Richfield City Chamber of Commerce, Snow College Alumni Board and started the annual service project "Coats for Kids." This annual coat drive has provided hundreds of coats to children in need each year. As an alumna of Snow College, Angie loves to see the growth, progress and benefit that Snow College contributes to the local community and world beyond. She's grateful for the privilege of serving the institution that gave her a platform to achieve her goals. Mrs. Stubbs and her husband Jim have three children.
Millard County School District Superintendent
Mr. Styler, a graduate of Delta High School attended Snow College before graduating from Brigham Young University with bachelor’s and master’s degrees in education and education leadership. Professionally, Mr. Styler has spent his 34 career in the Millard School District as a teacher of American History, assistant principal at Delta Middle and Delta High Schools, the principal of Delta Middle School, and for the past eight years as the superintendent of the Millard School District. He served as president of the Utah School Superintendent’s Association in 2017-2018, and was named the Utah State Superintendent of the Year for 2018. Mr. Styler and his wife Danielle have five children.
