“Sound leadership is valuable at every level – whether in our communities, businesses, schools or families. We hope this event will help everyone, from the entrepreneurs who support our area’s economy to parents and educators who influence the leaders of tomorrow,” says Snow College’s president, Gary Carlston.

Snow College’s Custom Fit Training program has arranged to cover 50% of the cost of admission for eligible businesses in the six-county region. Further, event organizers point out that “while only 30% of our state’s population is young people, they make up 100% of tomorrow’s leaders.” Accordingly, they are making plans to provide scholarships for a limited number of students and educators from high schools throughout the region to attend Leadercast. Additionally, anyone who wishes may apply in a drawing for free admission to the event.

Dr. Kristal Ray an assistant professor of computer science at Snow College has been involved in Leadercast multiple times in both Atlanta and other simulcast locations. According to Ray, who has helped spearhead the college’s effort to become a host site for the event, “Leadercast is an inspirational day that offers a chance to re-charge. For one day, I focus on me—my impact, obstacles and growth opportunities and make a plan for the year ahead. It gives me a chance to see how other leaders have overcome incredible challenges to achieve what they believe is important.”

Leadercast is open to the public. More information about the event, tickets and the drawing for free admission is available at www.Snow.edu/leadercast. Businesses interested in the Custom Fit Training partnership to reduce their cost by 50% may call (435) 893-2267.
