December 20, 2021 (1:57 PM): The Snow College community is deeply grateful that Madelyn Allen has been found and is safe. We will be honoring the family’s request for privacy as they help Maddie to heal and will refer you to their social media pages for any further updates.

Snow College expressed appreciation in press conference

Snow College Public Safety reports that Madelyn Allen has been found and is in the care of authorities and family members. Snow College expresses deep appreciation to the many officers and agents who have worked on this case. The public’s help in sharing information has also been essential and is appreciated.

Family members and college officials addressed the media at 3:00 pm on Sunday, December 19, 2021, on the Snow College Ephraim Campus. The press conference was streamed live on YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook. Links to the stream are below:

December 18, 2021 (6:00 PM): Investigators continue their efforts to find Madelyn and ask the public to share any tips. The family has organized a vigil for Sunday, December 18. All are invited.

December 17, 2021 (4:00 PM): Investigators continue to explore all leads in the Madelyn Allen case. Officers from multiple law enforcement agencies are meeting regularly to coordinate efforts. Police continue to ask the public for help and tips with finding Maddie. Finding Maddie remains the primary goal. Evidence suggests Madelyn has left the Ephraim area. She did not have access to a car nor does she have a driver’s license and would not be able to travel on her own. Madelyn’s current mental state, as shared by her family in the press conference on December 16, amplify the concern and urgency in finding Maddie.

Statement From Madelyn Allen’s Family

Our one and only priority is to locate and bring home our Madelyn.

We are following the guidance of authorities, including Snow College Police Department, multiple county law enforcement agencies, and the FBI. We sincerely appreciate their coordinated efforts and expertise.

We will expend every effort to find our Madelyn and we are looking into every possible resource and strategy to reunite with her.

We know that the media and good people everywhere want to help, and we express deep gratitude for Snow College, their public safety team, responsible media members, and the many friends, family and acquaintances who have extended their love and prayers.

We will be holding a live press conference with Snow College today at 4:00 PM in the Noyes Building, which is located on the Snow College Campus. Links to the stream will be posted on the Snow College news webpage.

The family has created Facebook and Instagram pages and will post updates there.

December 15, 2021 (8:40 PM): Snow College officials do not have any updates on Madelyn Allen’s whereabouts. Police will continue to follow all leads and investigate the case. Our hope and goal is to have Madelyn safely home soon. At this point, we believe Madelyn’s disappearance is an isolated incident and others are not in danger. Please continue to look out for each other and share any information you have about this situation with Snow College Public Safety.

December 15, 2021 (3:35 PM): At this time, there are no new updates to report concerning the search for Madelyn. Police are following up on every lead. As student safety is our top priority, we ask that you please continue to be vigilant and report any sightings or suspicious behavior to campus police.

Law enforcement seeks public’s assistance in collecting information.

December 14, 2021 – Ephraim, UT – Snow College police are searching for Madelyn Allen, age 19, who was last seen leaving her residence (Snow Hall – 155 East College Avenue, Ephraim, Utah) at 9:22 PM on December 13, 2021. Security footage shows someone who is believed to be Madelyn leaving the lobby carrying a plastic bag and wearing a white fleece jacket, a dark skirt, and flat shoes.

Snow College Public Safety is working with local and state law enforcement as well as the FBI. Police are asking anyone who was in the area and saw anything suspicious to contact them at 435-283-7170. Anyone with information about Madelyn’s whereabouts is also asked to contact police.
