Short Term Intensive Training (STIT) is a state-funded program that offers a wide range of training solutions to build workforce knowledge, skills, and ability. STIT serves individuals who need non-credit, short-term training. STIT is administered by Custom Fit Training at Snow College - Richfield and Ephraim.

STIT provides

  • Professional training, utilizing qualified instructors
  • Training with start dates throughout the year
  • Tuition reimbursement

Program Eligibility

Individuals generally meet one or more of the following eligibility requirements:

  • Seeking employment and need to obtain employable skills
  • Wanting to make a career change requiring upgraded skills
  • Enrolling in a course to successfully complete certification/lisensure requirements

Tuition Reimbursement

The STIT program uses state funds to provide occupationally-specific training for individuals seeking to match their non-credit training needs to employment opportunities. STIT funding reimburses a percentage of the tuition for course offerings, with a general limit of $500 or less per class.
