Truth-In-Tuition Hearing

Notice Of Proposed Tuition Increase

Snow College is proposing to increase to student tuition rates. This would be an increase of 3-5%, which is an increase of $52.29-$87.15 per semester for a full-time resident undergraduate student. All concerned students and citizens are invited to a public hearing on the proposed increase.

Snow College holds its annual Truth in Tuition hearing every year between the end of the Utah legislative session and the Board of Trustees’ approval of tuition rates for the upcoming school year in order to be transparent and to gather feedback from students to be shared with the Board of Trustees.

This year, those events coincide with the COVID-19 pandemic. In an effort to keep our students, faculty and staff safe, and to be in line with state limits on large gatherings, this year’s Truth in Tuition hearing will take place online on March 4 from 2-3 p.m.

Snow College is proposing to increase tuition by up to a maximum of 5% for the 2021-22 school year, while also slightly decreasing mandatory student fees. The additional funding will support salaries and benefits for faculty and staff and other state requirements.

Students may submit questions or feedback to Student Body Officers, Office of Administrative Services, or email address for this person. The Board of Trustees is scheduled to vote on the proposed tuition increase at a meeting on March 19.
