Title: Intermediate Cosmetology Lab

Description: Lab instruction and practice are an integral part of this program. This course covers principles and practices of manicuring, pedicuring, nail diseases and disorders, massage, facials, facial makeup, skin disorders and diseases, and removal of unwanted hair by tweezing and waxing, hair extension application, shampooing, draping, finger waving, roller sets, thermal curling, braiding, haircoloring, hair lightening, chemical relaxing, care of wigs, hairstyling, permanent waving, and haircutting.This course has a service learning component.
