Badgers,

I want to welcome you to Snow College, the Best Two-Year college in America! We can’t wait to see you in a few weeks for the full campus experience! I am here to support your educational experience and advocate for you, the student. My #1 goal is for you to be successful during your time here at Snow College. I believe in a proactive, holistic, student-centered approach to give students the tools and resources they need to grow and  thrive.

We hope you enjoyed your summer and are healthy and vaccinated. We’re keeping an eye on the Delta variant of COVID-19, which is spreading fast among those who are unvaccinated. It’s very contagious and affects younger people more than the COVID virus that has been circulating for the past 18 months. If you haven’t been vaccinated, please consider vaccination before returning to campus. Having a higher percentage of people vaccinated increases the likelihood that we will be able to continue with our plans to have a pre-COVID, normal school year.  Please consult with your doctor, read the facts, and schedule an appointment to be vaccinated if you haven’t yet done so.  We will be a mask-friendly campus for anyone who chooses to wear a face covering.  Those who aren’t vaccinated will be asked to social distance and wear a mask.  Please come to school ready to have a great social experience, learn a lot, and respect everyone’s choice on #maskingup.  It’s up to all of us to do our part.

Also for those attending our Ephraim Campus, plan to join us for Move-In Day activities on Saturday, August 28.  This is the best time to move into your new apartments and get settled before classes start on August 30.  Offices in the Greenwood Student Center will be open from 9:00 – 2:00, lunch will be served, and Student Life has planned activities throughout the weekend.  All new students should also plan to complete a Badger Orientation online before classes start.  The orientation is available in Canvas, and the Admissions Office can help if you have questions.

"The Snow College administration, faculty, staff and students, are committed to building a more equitable and inclusive environment that focuses on building a college community where everyone has the opportunity to develop physically, emotionally and intellectually.  We believe in the value of diversity and inclusion and recognize the uniqueness and contribution of every individual and what they bring to the college community.  We believe in and promote a culture of dignity and respect of every individual, where our differences, perspectives, experiences, and backgrounds are welcome and encouraged." - Office of Diversity and Inclusion

My purpose is to invest in you and provide an educational, student-centered approach to equip you with the needed campus resources and campuswide support.  Please use the drop down menu in the top right-hand corner to access support servcies and resouces available to all Snow College students.  I will strive to make sure you have a fun, friendly and safe educational experience here at Snow College.  My door is always open to listen to you.
