About

Throughout my life, I have developed a love for teaching, learning, and for chemistry.

Ever since I finished high school in Strasburg Colorado, I knew I wanted to become a teacher and help others reach their dreams. Because of this desire, I pursued and earned a bachelor's degree in chemistry education from Brigham Young University Idaho, and a Ph.D. in Chemistry Education from Purdue University.

When I'm not teaching chemistry, I love spending time with my wonderful wife and kids, telling cheesy dad jokes, shooting landscape photography, and playing chess.
