Working in Food Services

Working in Food Services

If you want to meet nearly everyone on campus from the resident halls to the professors, then Snow College Food Services is the place to work. With two locations on campus, they provide jobs where students can interact and meet new people. Working in this department will keep you very busy. The Badger Den and Buster's Bistro are the two places food gets served on campus. In addition, the catering services give students a chance to work in a variety of locations.

Students get 15 to 20 hours each week on a set schedule for minimum wage. The number of students hired depends on how may come back from previous years but new employees get hired at the first of the semester or when help is needed. Annette Taylor, Food Service Director, will have jobs posted on Badger Handshake. She says that working in food services is a lot of fun, is a good way to meet new people, and will help students gain people skills.

You can find more on campus jobs that are available by using your Badger Handshake account. Feel free to contact Career Services with any more questions you may have.
