Important Deadlines

Fall Semester – June 1st
To receive your financial aid award when school begins it is imperative that you meet this deadline. You can still apply for financial aid; however, anyone not meeting this deadline can expect a delay in their funding. Recent experience has shown that the delay can be anywhere from 12-14 weeks after their last paperwork is turned in.
(If you wait and apply in August when school starts it is conceivable that your aid will not be ready until November.)

Spring Semester – November 1st
To receive your financial aid award when spring classes begin it is imperative that you meet this deadline.

Summer Semester – March 1st
To receive your financial aid award when summer classes begin it is imperative that you meet this deadline.

Students may apply for aid by completing the FAFSA once parent(s)/student has filed their last year's tax return. It is not recommended to complete the FAFSA until your taxes have been filed. Please note that if you are a dependent student, both you and your parents will need to have filed last year's tax returns.
