The Director of Residence Life oversees the Office of Residence Life. The department and the director work towards developing a positive student learning community both in the residence halls and across campus. The director maintains residence life policies and works directly with the Campus Safety Department to make the halls a safe and academically conducive living environment.

The Residence Life Office Manager maintains student accounts throughout the academic year. This position also monitors payment and the check-in/check-out information. This position is the forefront for the Office of Residence Life and manages the office and its’ administrative tasks.

Residence Life Coordinator of Operations:

The Residence Life Coordinators(s) (RLCs) are professional staff members that work in the Office of Residence Life. RLCs aid in the placement of student housing and also with staff training and student surveying. Students will meet with these professionals to adjust student housing accommodations and questions within the Office of Residence Life.

Resident Director(s):

The Resident Director(s) are in the Residence Halls frequently to assist residents, uphold Residence Life policies, complete random cleaning inspections, and assist Resident Assistants as necessary. Resident Director(s) duties expand across all buildings and focus on the daily functions of the staffs within each building.

Resident Assistants:

Resident Assistants are placed on each floor/wing to aid students in a positive college experience. Resident Assistants monitor the residence halls nightly and create student programming for community development. Resident Assistants are available to answer student questions and mediate roommate conflict.

Conference Managers:

Conference Managers (CMs) coordinate all aspects of summer conferences that will take place on Snow College’s campus during the summer months. CMs handle a variety of duties behind the scenes such as cleaning rooms, washing linens, checking in/out guests as well as participating in a rotating duty schedule.
