Holiday Schedule
Eligible employees (currently defined as full-time staff) are entitled to ten paid holidays plus up to three presidential discretionary days. Each year the Snow College holiday schedule changes according to specific dates. The college will be closed on these dates.
Remaining 2023 calendar year holiday schedule:
- September 4 (Monday) – Labor Day
- November 23 (Thursday) – Thanksgiving Day
- November 24 (Friday) – Presidential Discretionary Day
- December 25 (Monday) – Christmas Day
- December 26 (Tuesday) – Presidential Discretionary Day
- December 27 (Wednesday) – Presidential Discretionary Day
*Please note the college will be closed to the public on December 28th and 29th, 2023.
2024 calendar year holiday schedule:
- January 1 (Monday) – New Year's Day Observance
- January 15 (Monday) – Martin Luther King Day
- February 19 (Monday) – Presidents Day
- May 27 (Monday) – Memorial Day
- June 19 (Wednesday) – Juneteenth
- July 4 (Thursday) – Independence Day
- July 24 (Wednesday) – Pioneer Day
- September 2 (Monday) – Labor Day
- November 28 (Thursday) – Thanksgiving Day
- November 29 (Friday) – Presidential Discretionary Day
- December 24 (Tuesday) – Presidential Discretionary Day

Snow College Policy 331, paragraph 5.5, "Non-exempt employees who are either required by their supervisor, or for emergency purposes must work during Thanksgiving and/or Christmas day as designated on the College annual calendar will be compensated at time and a half."
